 1 out of 5 people are neurodiverse, meaning their cognitive functioning varies from those whose brain is considered standard or typical. 

 The neurodiverse community has huge potential and truly unique strengths and gifts. If they are in the right environment, they can thrive, propelling a company forward, increasing productivity in companies who leverage neurodiverse teams by as much as 30%. Bonus, they are also more like to drive new, disruptive innovations. 

However, people who are neurodivergent experience terminations and performance issues at higher rates than their neurotypical counterparts.  Oftentimes leaders see behaviors perceived as laziness, lack of commitment or  accountability, lack of will power, poor communication, or not a team player. In these cases, they may have reached the limits of their methods, not their POTENTIAL.
